Welcome to Classic Theology New, and thanks for visiting. I am one of those bored with much contemporary theology that seems interesting, at least at first glance, but does not satisfy. It lacks depth. I am equally impatient with the conservative agenda that uses the deep theological culture of Christianity for its own ideological purposes. It cannot satisfy. The classic texts of the Christian tradition satisfy and warrant deep theological reflection, even meditation. This little blog reflects something of my attempts to do just that.
